Job Summary

A non-profit healthcare provider is in need of a Remote Inpatient Coder in Milwaukee.

Core Responsibilities Include:

• Assigning and sequencing codes
• Reviewing all provider documentation
• Reviewing MS-DRG information

Must meet the following requirements for consideration:

• Associate Degree in Health Information Management or related field
• AHIMA CCS certification to be obtained within 6 months OR
• AHIMA RHIA or AHIMA RHIT certification
• 3 years experience in coding in an acute health care environment
• Advanced knowledge of ICD10 and MS-DRGs
• Advanced knowledge and understanding of anatomy and physiology
