A hospital and healthcare solutions company has an open position for a Remote Inpatient Coder in Plano.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Assigning appropriate diagnosis and procedure codes
- Complying with production and quality standards of the client
- Maintaining and utilizing a variety of health record indexes and storage retrieval systems
Position Requirements Include:
- Must be credentialed, i.e., CCS, RHIA, RHIT, CPC, or CPC-H
- Acute Care Hospital Experience, preferable 3-5 years
- DRG/APC Knowledgeable
- Experience coding multiple/various coding and abstracting applications
