Job Summary
A Catholic, not-for-profit healthcare syste has a current position open for a Remote Inpatient Coder in Tyler.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Coding diseases and procedures of each inpatient record
- Querying the appropriate physicians for clarification
- Ensuring documentation specificity is captured
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- HS Diploma, Associates or Bachelor's Degree in HIM
- CCS required
- 3 years IP coding experience
- Experience in hospital acute care coding environment
- Experience in hospital outpatient coding environment
- Epic experience
