Job Summary

A healthcare business and operations provider has an open position for a Remote Inpatient Coding Coordinator in Richmond.

Must be able to:

  • Compile daily work list from eRequest and/or other bill alert/editsystems
  • Escalate alert/edit resolution issues as appropriate to minimize final billing delays
  • Take action and resolve alerts/edits daily following established procedures and thresholds

Required Skills:

  • High School graduate or GED equivalent
  • 1 year acute care inpatient and/or outpatient coding experience
  • RHIA, RHIT and/or CCS strongly preferred
