Job Summary
A healthcare business and operations provider needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Inpatient Coding Integrity Specialist in Allentown.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Maintain or exceed established accuracy standards
- Assign, sequence, validate, and/or edit codes/DRGs and abstracted data
- Maintain or exceed established productivity standards
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Minimum 1 year of acute care hospital inpatient coding required, 3 years preferred.
- Undergraduate (associates or bachelors) degree in HIM/HIT preferred
- RHIT, RHIA or CCS required
