Job Summary

A healthcare company needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Inpatient Facility Medical Coder.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Reviewing documentation to determine the principal and secondary ICD-10 diagnoses codes
  • Utilizing an electronic medical record (Epic) and encoder software
  • Ensuring appropriate and effective reimbursement with client's financial services

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

  • CCS (Certified Coding Specialist)
  • Minimum of three (3) years of coding experience
  • Proficiency in MS Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel and Teams
  • Ability to understand medical/surgical terminology
  • Educated in HIPAA regulations
