Job Summary

An IT business services company has an open position for a Remote Inpatient Facility Medical Coder.

Core Responsibilities Include:

Providing remote medical records coding and abstracting services
Working remotely from a home office.
Using EMR, multiple encoders and abstracting systems

Must meet the following requirements for consideration:

Have credentials from AHIMA: RHIA, RHIT, CCS, CCS-P; or from AAPC: CPC, COC, or CIC
At least 1 year coding experience in facility Inpatient coding
Ability to work from home using high speed internet
Top coding facility Inpatient acute care skills
