Job Summary

A revenue cycle management service provider is in need of a Remote Inpatient Hospital Coding Auditor.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

• Communicating why a code is incorrect, what the correct code should be, and why
• Finding conditions or complications that would change the DRG assignment

Must meet the following requirements for consideration:

• ICD-10 procedure code and diagnosis code assignment experience
• Hospital coding for inpatients for at least 2 years
• DRG assignment experience
• Knowledge of when to query a physician for clarification or record amendment
