Job Summary

A non-profit healthcare provider has an open position for a Remote Inpatient ICD 10 PCS Medical Coder in New York City.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

• Extracting clinical, pathological, therapeutic and epidemiologic data
• Ensuring that data is optimally coded for research purposes, etc
• Ensuring that clinical documentation is coded timely, accurately

Required Skills:

• 2-4 years of inpatient coding experience, and knowledge of ICD-10-CM and ICD-10-PCS
• ICD-10-PCS and ICD-10-CM coding, anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
• Familiar with an automated health care environment
• Good computer, verbal, and written communication skills required
• A medical coder
