Job Summary
A healthcare company is in need of a Remote Inpatient Medical Coder.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Assigning accurate ICD codes for diagnoses and procedures
- Assigning accurate ICD diagnoses, current procedural terminology
- Training and educating staff on coding issues and plays a significant role in coding compliance activities
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Excellent computer/communication skills for provider and staff interactions
- Knowledge of anatomy/physiology and disease process
- Ability to handle multiple projects and appropriately prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
- A minimum of three years inpatient coding experience within the last five years
- Inpatient facility experience should encompass different medical specialties
