Job Summary
A provider of information technology services needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Inpatient Medical Coder.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Assign the appropriate discharge disposition to medical records
- Review medical records and assign accurate ICD-10-Diagnosis & procedure, CPT, HCPCS codes as appropriate
- Abstract and enter the coded data for hospital statistical and reporting requirements
Position Requirements Include:
- Experience in EMR, computerized encoding and abstracting software
- AHIMA or AAPC certified
- Ongoing auditing with accuracy of 95% or better
