Job Summary

A staffing company needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Inpatient Medical Coder in Ashburn.

Must be able to:

• Accurately assign POA values
• Accurately capture MCC and CCs
• Review daily pre-bill edits

Qualifications for this position include:

• CCS certification
• 3 years IP coding experience
• Experience coding facility acute care Trauma/Teaching Level 1, Cardio and Transplant case mix
• Ability to meet coding productivity and accuracy requirements of 3 charts per hour/95% accuracy
• Ability to utilize Coding software and HIMS to abstract required data from patient visits
