Job Summary

A staffing and recruiting agency is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Inpatient Medical Coder in Ashburn.

Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Reviewing daily pre-bill edits and coding errors to make corrections or complete missing data elements
  • Ensuring the most accurate and complete documentation to support accurate coding/billing

Required Skills:

  • Attend continuing education workshops, webinars, etc., for coding compliance and maintenance of CEUs
  • 3 years IP coding experience
  • Must have CCS certification
  • Meet coding productivity and accuracy requirements
  • Experience coding facility acute care Trauma/Teaching Level 1, Cardio and Transplant case mix
