Job Summary

A staffing agency is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Inpatient Medical Coder in Falls Church.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

• Maintaining at least a 95% accuracy rate
• Maintaining at least a 95% productivity rate
• Following up on missing documentation, including the generation of appropriate queries

Qualifications for this position include:

• Completion of a Medical Terminology, Anatomy and Physiology, and Pharmacology course
• Successful completion of an ICD-9-CM and HCPCS/CPT coding class
• Coding/HIM certification
• Must have at least five years strong IP Coding experience
• Must have AHIMA certification/coding credential though AHIMA or AAPC
• Must have worked in a large acute care facility
