A staffing agency is filling a position for a Remote Inpatient Medical Coder in McAllen.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Accurately coding inpatient diagnosis and procedures
- Utilizing problem resolution skills to oversee the daily activities of the coding
- Ensuring compliance and optimization of all coding
Position Requirements Include:
- Able to travel between facilities and attend seminars
- Three to five years inpatient coding experience required
- Advanced training in medical coding
- Computer skills
- RHIT, RHIA or CCS
- High School or GED required.
