Job Summary
A staffing agency is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Inpatient Medical Coder in Philadelphia.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Reviewing appropriate provider documentation
- Utilizing technical coding principals and DRG reimbursement expertise
- Ensuring all CC and MCC are captured during coding process
Qualifications for this position include:
- 5+ years strong IP Coding experience, preferably in a teaching hospital
- AHIMA certification (CCS, RHIT, RHIA)
- Experience working in a large acute care facility
- Experience coding critical care patients including transplants, spinal fusion, sepsis, and neurology
