Job Summary

A healthcare information management company is in need of a Remote Inpatient Medical Coding Consultant 2.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Reviewing medical records
  • Assigning accurate codes for diagnoses and procedures.
  • Assigning the appropriate discharge disposition to medical records

Required Skills:

  • Willing and able to travel when necessary
  • A minimum of 1-5 years of coding experience in a hospital and/or coding consulting role
  • Experience in computerized encoding and abstracting software
  • Required to take and pass annual Introductory HIPAA examination
