Job Summary
A non-profit healthcare system has an open position for a Remote Inpatient Medical Records Coder.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Assisting Manager/Director with mentoring/training of Coder I, Coder II and Coder III team members and clinical practice students from various colleges
- Serving as a liaison to Clinical documentation Specialists for ICD-10 inpatient encounters for accurate code and MSDRG assignments
- Performing other duties as assigned
