Job Summary
A health information management company is seeking a Remote Inpatient Outpatient Medical Coding Auditor.
Must be able to:
- Perform quality reviews on coders ensuring compliance with coding guidelines
- Provide client services and lead, coordinate and perform all functions of quality reviews
- Serve as an SME
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Minimum of 5 years of medical coding experience
- 1+ year of Academic Medical Center experience
- Minimum of 3 years of medical coding auditing experience
- Educated in HIPAA regulations; must maintain strict confidentiality of patient and client information
- Proficiency in MS Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel and Teams
- Ability to understand medical/surgical terminology
