Job Summary
A company in the healthcare industry is filling a position for a Remote Inpatient Query Closure Coding Specialist.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Perform appropriate assignment of ICD-10 CM/PCS codes
- Abstract data in accordance with client specifications
- Record charts final coded and other relevant tracking information
Qualifications for this position include:
- 3 years of Inpatient medical coding experience (hospital, facility, etc.)
- Experience in DRG Assignment
- Coding credential required from AHIMA/AAPC (RHIA, RHIT, CCS)
- ICD-10 experience required
- Minimum HS Diploma or GED required
