Remote Instructional Designer

Job Summary

To support the production of engaging instructional materials, the full-time Remote Instructional Designer will collaborate with faculty and staff to develop course content, manage learning management systems, and ensure compliance with accessibility standards.

Key responsibilities

• Create and maintain course shells in the LMS, ensuring organization and accessibility
• Collaborate on instructional design projects to enhance course quality and support continuous improvement
• Assist in developing strategies for program growth and maintain relationships with instructional support services

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field
• Minimum of three years of experience in instructional design and project management
• Experience with learning management systems and online education technologies
• Strong understanding of ADA Title II requirements and accessibility standards
• Proficiency in tools for designing instructional materials, including multimedia software
