Remote Instructional Designer

Job Summary

A business advisory firm is seeking a Remote Instructional Designer.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

• Designing curricula for specific training programs related to product, project, and protocol-specific training deliverables
• Creating engaging learning activities and compelling course content that enhances retention and transfer
• Conducting instructional research and analysis on learners and contexts

Required Skills:

• B.A./B.S. or equivalent
• 3-5+ years of experience designing and developing course materials using proven instructional design methodologies
• Demonsrated strong understanding of adult learning principles, course development methodologies (e.g., ADDIE, SAM), and Kirkpatrick's training evaluation levels
• Experience developing content suited for multiple delivery channels (instructor-led classes, online virtual classes, and self-paced eLearning training material)
• Proven exceptional written and verbal communication skills with strong track record of successful cross-functional collaboration
• Proficiency in course-authoring tools (both technology-based and instructor-led training) such as: Articulate, Captivate, Adobe, Lectora, Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Visio
