Remote Instructional Designer II

Job Summary

A global company specializing in consumer transaction technologies needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Instructional Designer II.

Core Responsibilities Include:

• Actively contributing to departmental meta work such as template designs, processes, and new training development tool evaluation
• Participating in internal material reviews and internal pilot training sessions before distributing new learning content broadly
• Conducting Train the Trainer sessions with trainers who deliver any live components

Required Skills:

• Bachelor’s Degree (instructional design, business, communications or related field preferred)
• Minimum 2 – 4 years experience as an instructional designer in both eLearning and live classroom required, preferably in the software industry
• Demonstrates a good understanding of instructional design and adult learning theory, strategies, and techniques
• Proficient in Articulate Storyline, Camtasia and Snagit (or equivalent training development software), as well as Microsoft Office Suite and online collaboration software such as Microsoft Teams (or equivalent webcast software)
• Experience in the software industry
