Job Summary
An instructional design, and training services provider is seeking a Remote Instructional Designer in Schenectady.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Creating new and innovative training solutions that include but not limited to written course content
- Developing quality training materials based on the ADDIE model of instructional design
- Writing course design documents, learning objectives, course content, practice scenarios and activities
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in instructional design, instructional technology, technical writing, or a related field
- Possess in-depth knowledge of instructional design principles, practices, and adult learning theory
- Proven ability to develop a variety of learning tools that include but not limited to written course content
- Strong analytical skills
- Can convert information and needs into sequenced, systems-focused, classroom training materials
- Action-oriented
