Job Summary
An indemnity company has an open position for a Remote Insurance Actuary.
Must be able to:
- Build expert knowledge of Property pricing models
- Engage regularly with partner groups and peers to influence pricing and cross-segment initiatives
- Develop and revise strategic and tactical plans
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required
- Proficiency in one programming language, including SAS, SQL, R or Python
- Typically, 0-2 years post-fellowship with overall 5-7 years of progressively more responsible experience
- Strong analytical skills with solid understanding of actuarial techniques, standards, and assumptions
- Strong knowledge of insurance operations
- Demonstrated ability to exchange ideas and convey complex information clearly and concisely
