Job Summary
A global insurance company has an open position for a Remote Insurance Assistant Actuary.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Enhance underwriting capabilities by providing training to underwriters on RBP tools
- Work with partners in IT to build, test, and implement innovative pricing tools for the underwriting organization
- Collaborate with actuarial peers across GRS to ensure consistent pricing and reporting practices when appropriate
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum 5-7 years relevant experience
- Sound knowledge of actuarial techniques and standards
- Advanced communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to motivate and mentor peers and motivate and train subordinates
- Ability to build relationships and interact effectively with others within and outside the organization
