Job Summary

A healthcare consulting company is seeking a Remote Insurance Authorization Scheduling Specialist.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

• Perform all scheduling duties for patients wanting services across the organization
• Selects accurate medical records for patient safety and schedules appropriate procedure
• Pre-registers patients and validates demographic and insurance information

Skills and Requirements Include:

• High School Diploma
• Understanding of admission, billing, payments and denials
• Comprehensive knowledge of patient insurance process for obtaining benefits verification
• Knowledge of medical terminology or CPT or procedure codes
