Job Summary

An insurance company is in need of a Remote Insurance Claims Assistant.

Must be able to:

  • Contact insureds and agents to verify coverage and determine the nature and extent of the damage
  • Confirm claim date falls within policy period, determine applicable deductibles and claim payees/mortgagees
  • Review bills, invoices, and receipts for accuracy

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalency
  • Two years of experience in a business or insurance environment
  • Attainment of all applicable state licenses within one year of hire
  • Good knowledge of personal computers, software, and system applications
  • Good investigative and problem-solving skills
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
