Job Summary
An insurance company is in need of a Remote Insurance Claims Assistant.
Must be able to:
- Contact insureds and agents to verify coverage and determine the nature and extent of the damage
- Confirm claim date falls within policy period, determine applicable deductibles and claim payees/mortgagees
- Review bills, invoices, and receipts for accuracy
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalency
- Two years of experience in a business or insurance environment
- Attainment of all applicable state licenses within one year of hire
- Good knowledge of personal computers, software, and system applications
- Good investigative and problem-solving skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills
