Remote Insurance Claims Intake Specialist

Job Summary

Handling incoming calls to initiate new supplemental insurance claims, the full-time Remote Insurance Claims Intake Specialist will provide excellent customer service, answer benefit questions, and manage claims intake via email in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and process telephonic claim intakes as the primary responsibility
• Answer basic benefit and claim-related questions for callers
• Manage department intake through electronic correspondence and handle assigned tasks in the claim management system

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a call center or office environment
• Strong customer service skills with at least 2 years of experience
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and high standards of communication
