Remote Insurance Claims Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Remote Insurance Claims Representative.

Key Responsibilities

• Research and resolve uncollected account balances through communication with third-party payors and patients
• Document account activities and maintain productivity and quality standards
• Assist with special projects and escalate payment delays or issues to management as needed

Required Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; some college coursework in business administration or accounting preferred
• 1-4 years of medical claims and/or hospital collections experience
• Basic knowledge of Commercial, Managed Care, Medicare, and Medicaid insurance
• Minimum typing requirement of 45 wpm
• Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office applications
