Job Summary

A startup company building technology that changes how insurance is priced has a current position open for a Remote Insurance Claims Specialist.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

• Facilitating in operationalizing claims processes across various lines of business
• Effectively communicating with customers to address claim status inquiries or to address insurance program related questions
• Collaborating with product/engineering to develop claims process automations

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in claims specialist or adjustor role
• Deep understanding of the commercial lines insurance market
• Ability to deeply understand insurance policy language, coverage types, limits, deductibles, and terms of coverage
• Exceptional communication and customer service skills
• Initiative and creativity in solving problems and driving innovation through others
