Job Summary

A company is looking for an Insurance/Billing Collections Assistant II (Remote) in Emergency Medicine.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform insurance follow-up billing and collection duties to ensure timely payment of physician charges
• Review patient accounts for accuracy regarding insurance, eligibility, and invoice resolution
• Utilize Epic and other tools for claim submission, status, and eligibility inquiries

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent certification
• 2 years of experience in bookkeeping/accounting or a medical collection setting
• No specific certification required
• A driver's license is not required
