Job Summary

An insurance company is filling a position for a Remote Insurance Data Scientist.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Develop a subject-matter expertise around datasets
  • Work on data associated with policies, claims, and customers
  • Create predictive models

Qualifications Include:

  • Bachelor's degree in an analytical or technical discipline
  • At least 3 years of analyst experience in a dynamic environment
  • Expertise in Excel
  • Intermediate to advanced SQL/SAS or other programming language
  • Subject matter expertise in advanced analytical and modeling data capabilities utilizing Python and/or R
  • Experience with big data technologies, Rational Database Management System technologies and data visualization tools
