Job Summary
A financial services and insurance agency is filling a position for a Remote Insurance Data Scientist I.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Identifying and managing existing and emerging risks
- Ensuring risk associated with business activities are effectively identified, measured, monitored, and controlled
- Following written risk and compliance policies and procedures for business activities
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Quantitative Economics, Statistics, or related field
- OR 6 additional years of related experience
- 4 years of related experience in predictive modeling, large data analysis and computer science
- Experience in data mining and statistical analysis
- Knowledge of Data Science principals and experience with data science methodologies.
- Experience with statistical and predictive modeling approaches
