Job Summary

An insurance group is in need of a Remote Insurance Operations Senior Counsel Assistant Vice President.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

• Providing legal advice and counsel on underwriting, compliance, product development and policy forms
• Maintaining knowledge of industry issues and our coverages to assist underwriters and agents
• Aligning with Government Affairs, along with regional and national trade associations

Qualifications Include:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree required
• 5+ years prior management experience
• Minimum of 10 years of experience practicing law with an extensive background providing insurance regulatory advice
• Licensed to practice law in at least one US jurisdiction, preferably NJ or NY
• Proven track record of earning and keeping the trust of clients and colleagues
