Job Summary
A mental healthcare network has a current position open for a Remote Insurance Operations Specialist in New York City.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Supporting with provider credentialing
- Checking patient eligibility through payer portals and calling insurance payers
- Communicating eligibility to patients and clinical providers
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Organized, detail-oriented, with ability to prioritize work effectively
- Computer proficient with the ability to type 70+ WPM
- Comfortable learning and working across multiple software platforms including Google Drive, Kareo, Square, and more
- Strong communication skills
- Able to work between the hours of 8am-6pm ET
- Experience in healthcare insurance eligibility and billing
