Job Summary

A publicly-held property and casualty insurance provider is seeking a Remote Insurance Paralegal.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

• Preparing brief to assist client in presenting case in small claims court
• Drafting responses to discovery demands
• Assisting clients in answering questions regarding discovery

Qualifications Include:

• Bachelor’s degree and one year Paralegal experience or
• Paralegal certificate and two years Paralegal experience
• Experience in a litigation setting, homeowner’s and personal injury
• Knowledge of legal holds and discovery processes
• Basic budget management skills and ability to reconcile expense reports
• Advanced knowledge of software applications including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and other web-based applications
