Job Summary

A healthcare diagnostic imaging company is filling a position for a Remote Insurance Refund Specialist in Colorado Springs.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

• Identify credit balances due to electronic or manual overpayments
• Investigate and resolve assigned credit balance accounts
• Issue patient and insurance refunds

Qualifications Include:

• 3+ years’ experience working with credit balances from electronic/manual EOBs, lockbox and patient payments
• Or equivalent experience in patient accounting
• 3+ years’ experience in medical billing & refunding insurances and/or patients’ accounts or equivalent
• Ability to navigate multiple computer screens and browsers quickly and accurately
• Minimum of High School diploma or equivalent (GED)
