Job Summary
A global insurance company needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Insurance Sales Representative in Greater New York City Area.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Developing new clients, discovering new markets and providing customers with the products they need
- Utilizing your knowledge and enthusiastic work ethic to generate prospects and sell Auto, Home and Life Insurance products within an assigned territory
- Using your interpersonal skills and market insight to identify and cultivate prospective clients, and tailor products and services to meet the needs of existing customers
Position Requirements Include:
- Ability to travel as needed
- A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- Previous employment in sales where you have successfully turned prospects into customers
- A state insurance license—or willingness to earn one with company’s training and support
- Ability to learn insurance coverage and underwriting guidelines
- Familiarity with finding, building and growing leads and customer base
