Job Summary

A global insurance company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Insurance Secure DevOps Software Senior Software Engineer.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Tackling technical challenges and ensure quality as we move from legacy technologies to next-generation applications
  • Managing end-to-end development of software products
  • Documenting and leading the implementation of technical features, improvements and innovations

Required Skills:

  • Three to five+ years of software engineering experience
  • A background in business operations and strategies, with a focus on business IT
  • Experience with JavaScript, NodeJS, Java, Python and AWS as well as React and REST APIs
  • Strong oral and written communication skills — and a knack for explaining your decision-making process to non-engineers
  • A thorough grasp of IT concepts, business operations, design/development tools, system architecture/technical standards
  • Proficiency in software engineering languages and tools, including Java and RESTful services
