Job Summary

A property insurance company has a current position open for a Remote Insurance Senior Actuarial Assistant.

Must be able to:

  • Assist actuaries with financial statements, reserving, pricing, ratemaking, filings, planning, reinsurance and data initiatives
  • Provide departmental leadership regarding insurance data, actuarial interactions, data quality and user acceptance testing
  • Develop, review and analyze statistical reports for various business units

Skills and Requirements Include:

  • Bachelors degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science or related field
  • 5 years technical experience in the property casualty insurance industry
  • 5+ years of experience in data analysis
  • Understanding of data structures and queries
  • Ability to run queries and programming experience
  • Ability to perform User Acceptance Testing on new data systems and improve existing systems
