Job Summary

A transcription company is filling a position for a Remote Insurance Transcript Editor.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Listening to the corresponding audio while proofreading and correcting the document
  • Proofreading draft versions of audio transcriptions
  • Correcting speakers who were misidentified, correcting the accuracy of words spoken, punctuation, and formatting

Must meet the following requirements for consideration:

  • Able to produce a transcript that is at least 98% accurate
  • Must be able to type 75 WPM
  • Be proficient at research on the Internet
  • Be computer savvy; able to learn new programs quickly and independently
  • Be able to meet posted deadlines
