Job Summary
A healthcare technology developer has an open position for a Remote Insurance Verification and Authorization Representative.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Verifying patient insurance coverage to ensure necessary procedures are covered by a provider or hospital stay
- Documenting all interactions timely and accurately
- Calculating patient quotes based on benefits
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- 1+ years of medical hospital experience in insurance and business functions
- 2+ years of experience in patient access or insurance verification for a hospital or multi-specialty profession
- High School diploma and any level of higher education (experience may be considered in lieu of degree)
