Key Responsibilities

Receive and make calls regarding patient insurance coverage and document all interactions
Verify insurance coverage and benefits through various methods
Review claims and update patient accounts while maintaining productivity standards

Required Qualifications and Education

Minimum of 1 year experience in a healthcare revenue cycle environment focused on insurance billing and collections
High school diploma or equivalent
Knowledge of healthcare insurance, managed care, and reimbursement methodologies
Familiarity with insurance coding requirements and medical terminology
Must reside in specific states: FL, GA, MO, NE, NC, SC, TN, TX, or VA
