Job Summary

A company is looking for a Remote Insurance Verification Specialist.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform eligibility verification and upload verification documents into the EHR System
  • Verify insurance benefits through payer websites and direct calls to insurance companies
  • Coordinate with providers to ensure all necessary insurance documentation is uploaded for accurate benefit checks
Required Qualifications
  • Prior knowledge and experience with CPT and ICD-10 codes is strongly preferred
  • 1 - 2 years' experience with medical insurance verification and authorization experience is a plus
  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability to read and interpret documents and medical records
