Job Summary
Detail-oriented and customer-focused, the full-time Remote Insurance Verification Specialist will assist patients in obtaining insurance coverage for prescription medications while working from home in a fast-paced call center environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist patients in obtaining insurance coverage for prescription medications
- Handle inbound and outbound calls with patients, guarantors, payers, and payees
- Contact insurance companies to verify eligibility, benefits, and coverage
Required Qualifications
- At least one (1) year of recent Medical Insurance Verification or Benefits Verification experience
- Experience with prior authorizations, insurance claims processing, and HIPAA compliance
- Ability to navigate multiple systems and learn new software quickly
- Proficiency with computers and data entry
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
