• Reviewing documentation to ensure meets needs of payer and medical policy
• Verifying diagnosis code on patient billing is accurate and reimbursable
• Communicating with clinic staff to obtain the necessary documentation

Required Skills:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Less than 1 year of related experience
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Working knowledge of ICD-9, ICD-10, HCPC/CPT and other coding
• Proficient computer software; such as MS Word, Excel, and automated billing systems
