Job Summary

Working remotely on a full-time basis, the Intake Specialist will manage incoming client calls for an Employee Assistance Program, assessing needs, inputting data, and connecting clients to appropriate resources and counselors during evening hours.

Key responsibilities
  • Answer initial client calls and assess their needs for EAP services
  • Complete EAP Intake Forms in the EAP Expert database system and assign cases to appropriate staff or affiliates
  • Screen for safety issues and connect clients to on-call counselors as necessary
Required qualifications
  • Proficiency in IT applications and database management
  • Experience in a call center or scheduling environment is preferred
  • Strong commitment to customer service
  • Reliable internet connection with specified minimum speeds
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook and Office programs
