Job Summary
A substance abuse recovery organization is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Intake Specialist.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Serving as the client liaison for all incoming intake calls to the organization, answering all calls within established guidelines in a welcoming, energetic manner
- Demonstrating knowledge of organizational structure and criteria to clients
- Providing educated answers to clinical questions, identifying and assisting caller needs, and ensuring all requests are followed through and completed
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 1-year experience in human services/healthcare or customer service professional role
- Ability to work following schedule: Friday, Saturday and Sunday 7am-7pm
- Ability to work 2 holidays per year
- Demonstrated critical thinking and judgment skilss where you can read between the lines to determine if an issue requires special or urgent attention
- Demonstrated strong communicator with the ability to communicate effectively on the phone with clarity and warmth
