Job Summary

A home medical equipment company is in need of a Remote Intake Specialist.

Must be able to:

Accurately enters referrals into appropriate system based on the type of referral obtained
Answers phone calls in a timely manner and assists caller
Responsible for reviewing medical records for non-sales assisted referrals

Qualifications Include:

Ability to appropriately interact with patients, referral sources and staff
Experience in a Medicare certified HME, IV or HH environment that routinely bills insurance
Proficient computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office
Excellent customer service and telephone service skills
High School Diploma
One (1) year work related in health care administrative, financial, or insurance customer services, claims, billing, call center or management
